Kenny Gamble – $8.5 million
Kenny Gamble, born in Philadelphia, made a name for himself through his work on the local soul scene. He recorded himself on arcade machines as a child and developed a profound interest in music. He later founded a band that Jerry Ross managed, called Gamble & Huff. Back in 1967, the Soul Survivors covered the first one! He is best known for songs like “Expressway to Your Heart” and “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me.”
