Glenn Frey became The Eagles’ lead singer (and their guitarist as well). “He has written a number of the most popular songs, including “Tequila Sunrise,” “Lyin ‘Eyes,” “Take It Easy,” “New Kid in Town,” and more. Afterward, he went solo when the Eagles broke up in 1980. His debut was No Fun Aloud. He had many hits, reaching the top 40s, including “Blues Smuggler,” “The Heat Is On,” “Sexy Girl,” and more. At 67, he died in New York City.
