This is yet another reason so many viewers and relatives felt shocked when he decided it was time to get rid of his facial hair. The good thing is that he planned to do this for an amazing reason that was near and dear to him.

Mia, his daughter, has had a cleft lip and palate ever since she was born. The condition naturally occurs when the top lip of the baby does not form properly while in utero and the skull does not connect correctly with the top of the mouth. Luckily, this is not a fatal conditional and can be treated with surgery. However, the child might suffer from speech difficulties growing up.
