Even though they had previously crossed the same river many times in the past, they were extra careful this time. They did not want a repeat of what just happened. It showed that animals do learn from the past as well. The calf walked between its adult companions as well. The parents kept an eye on the little one the whole time. The village locals could not help but watch in amazement. How amazing was that?!

The locals spent more than one day with the animals. Even though they were also excited by then, they were glad they saw what they did. They hoped to watch until the elephants all disappeared from view. When the herd reached the other end of the river, something amazing happened. They all turned their heads as if to say goodbye.
