The world of WWE wrestling is a grueling one – one filled with pain, drama, and some serious take-downs. Once you peel away the intricate story line of each character, you’re left with the man or woman behind the mask. Disregarding the facade these wrestlers put on, we can get caught up in the tale and forget that wrestlers are just Average Joe’s and Jane’s.
The WWE has experienced some seriously wild moments, and maybe you were lucky enough to see it up front. Like Brock and Big Show breaking the ring in 2003. Or when Kane made his debut in 2003 and Vince McMahon uttered the words “That’s Gotta Be Kane!” before he delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to Undertaker. How about when Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin made an alliance? Or when Mankind was thrown from the top of the cell through the announcer’s table? How about Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant? No one will ever forget The Montreal Screwjob – ever. Okay, the list could tumble on for ages and that’s no joke either. The WWE continues to produce some of TV’s best moments and some of wrestling’s most iconic moments.
Of course all of these moments couldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the men, or women, behind the mask. Legends like Bret Hart, Shawn Michael, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Triple H, and so on. But hey, like we said, don’t forget that these wrestlers are just human and it’s only human nature to fall in love. No, we’re not talking about the scripted love scenes; we mean the wrestlers and their real life love stories. Whether they met their happily ever afters in the ring, at the supermarket, in school, at a party, or what-have-you, the point is that many of our favorite WWE wrestlers have a strong woman supporting them. Many of these strong men are dads who live ordinary lives outside the ring. Yes, they do playdates and carpools and make goofy faces while reading bedtime stories. They’re just like you and me at the end of the day. Let’s focus on the heart of the matter, literally, because we’re here to look at the wives who captured the hearts of some of the biggest names in wrestling.
Rebecca Curci and Shawn Michaels
Guys, we can’t make up just how adorable the relationship of Rebecca Curci and Shawn Michaels truly is. Rebecca was a Nitro girl who had seen Shawn on television long before they even met. Crystal Jacobs and Kane
We were first introduced to Kane in 1992 and he’s still killin’ it in the ring. Since August 1995, Kane has been married to Crystal Maurisa Goins, they have two daughters together. However we have to mention that Kane is also an insurer and in March 2017, he announced that he’s running for Mayor in Knox County as a Republican. *Whoa.*
