Although he had a wonderful time in the ring, the tragedy that happened in the family will forever taint his accomplishments. In June 2007, Christopher Michael Benoit killed his son and child. He took a life of his own two days after this. What happened surprised a lot of people. Fans claim that he sustained brain damage after injuries in the ring. On its website, WWE deleted any detail about him.
