Nation Mourns
Karen’s interment was held on February 8, 1983. More than a thousand fans came to attend the funeral of the young musician. Of course, her close friends Olivia Newton-John and Dorothy Hamill were also present. Burris was even in attendance and he even put his wedding ring in the casket.
