The Mask He Wore
Karen heeded her mother’s advice and proceeded with the wedding. She did not give up on her dreams of becoming a mother. However, she got a negative reaction from her new husband when she spoke about the alternatives they had! He said that he did not want to have kids with a “bag of bones”! His abusive behavior was not simply limited to verbal abuse, however. It was barely the tip of the iceberg.
