Rushed To Hospital
Once he got Karen’s frightening phone call, he told Karen to get herself to the hospital. She followed his advice, but not right away. It was only later that month that she went to a hospital. There, she was attached to an IV drip and gained 30 pounds in only two months. When she was discharged in November, she announced that she had been cured of anorexia. Everyone disagreed with her decision to leave the hospital, but she was determined that it was time to get out.
