Eventually, Karen began to look for help from professionals. She found Steven Levenkron, a New York City-based psychotherapist. Richard expressed dissatisfaction at the way he handled Karen’s case but it did not stop Karen from seeing Levenkron. However, she rang the doctor up one day to report that she was not feeling well. More specifically, she told him that her heart was “beating funny”.
