George Harrison was The Beatles’ lead guitarist. His lack of fame made him infamous as the “Quiet Beatle.” He co-wrote many of their most famous songs, including “Here Comes the Sun,” “Taxman,” “Something,” and many more. George Formby, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, and Django Reinhardt were among his musical influences. He was also inspired by Indian culture and music, expanding pop music into the band’s work to incorporate Indian instruments and Hindu spirituality.
