Labrador Retriever
Labs are well known to be friendly, intelligent dogs, and yes, it is true. These are qualities that make them great companions for seniors, provided they can get the exercise they need. It wouldn’t be fair to coop these large dogs in an apartment, but if you have a nice yard, they’ll be very happy. The breed is loyal, loving, and makes a great watchdog.
