She knocked once more, but the room appeared to be empty. Deanna realized that the door was not locked after she turned the handle. She found it weird that her daughter would be careless enough to leave it unlocked.

When Deanna opened it, she did not know what to expect. Upon entering the room, Deanna noticed that there were a couple of girls packing up their belongings. She exchanged hellos with them and went inside McKenna’s room.
