A grandson of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent via a previous marriage is George Philip Nicholas Windsor, Earl of St Andrews. George Windsor attended Eton College and Downing College, Cambridge, where he earned an MA in History. SOS Children’s Village UK and the Association for International Cancer Research are among the charitable organizations on which the retired diplomat The Earl of St Andrews serves as a trustee or patron. In January 2017, the Earl was named the University of Bolton’s new chancellor.
