Olivia De Havilland was yet another centenarian from Hollywood on our list. While known as Melanie for working on the Wind adaptation Gone, she was also renowned for working on several Hollywood classics. Also, she and Errol Flynn became famous for establishing a remarkably successful love team. In many popular movies, including Captain Blood, Robin Hood’s Adventure, and Dodge City, the pair appeared. We hoped she would enjoy her retirement, for she certainly deserved it.

CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER, 88 YEARS OLD
How could we forget to talk about Julie Andrews’ co-star in The Sound of Music? Christopher Plummer played Captain Von Trapp, and he was still acting. Even though he was 88, he didn’t look frail and fragile and sounded like he didn’t have any plans to retire. He worked on the 2017 All the Money in the World mystery film and was nominated for an Oscar.
