Richard Chamberlain became a household name when he appeared in the NBC show, Dr. Kildare. Aside from playing the titular character on the sitcom, he also appeared in productions like King Solomon’s Mines, The Thorn Birds, and The Bourne Identity. It is also fascinating to learn that he is gay! He even fooled around with a co-star from Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold. He came out with an autobiography in 2003 with the title Shattered Love.
