NANETTE FABRAY, 97 YEARS OLD
At the young age of 3 years old, Nanette Fabray started her acting career. Since then she worked on her tap dancing and singing, bringing her onto the stage of musical theater. When she was a young girl she believed that she had a learning disability. It turns out that she had been suffering from conductive hearing loss and she didn’t know. It was that which motivated her to become a deaf people rights advocate.
