His Little Girl
Mia, his daughter, has had a cleft lip and palate ever since she was born. The condition naturally occurs when the top lip of the baby does not form properly while in utero and the skull does not connect correctly with the top of the mouth. Luckily, this is not a fatal conditional and can be treated with surgery. However, the child might suffer from speech difficulties growing up.
