When Mark Harmon first met David McCallum, AKA Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, on set, Harmon made sure to call him Illya! What does that mean? Well, McCallum is well known for playing Illya Kuryakin from the series The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. When Harmon called him by his old character’s name, McCallum immediately replied, “Good God, that was 40 years ago!”
