It has been quite some time since she last competed in the Olympics, though Nadia’s legacy will never end. ABC News even included her in the ‘100 Most Important Women of the 20th Century’ list back in 1999. Moreover, she was listed as one of the ‘25 Outstanding Sports People of the 20th Century’ by The International Association of Sports Writers.
