Knowing this animal would need some sustenance, Plucas went off to get leaves and milk for her. Also he made a makeshift home for the baby moose. That makeshift place would fill in until Animal Services came the following day. Yet, Plucas did not see this coming…Actually, neither did Sasnauskas when he took in that baby fawn.

Tough Adjustment
Of course, the young fawn ended up loving Sasnauskas’ animals. However, the fawn was weak and also in dire need of food. Obviously, the young baby needed immediate care. As you may know from puppies or kittens, that first week is the most difficult. Besides food, the deer needed tender loving care!
