They hoisted the first cub onto the boat, but then things got more difficult. The cub was too much and much heavier than they expected. The cubs also seemed confused if they were being captured or rescued!

The men tried to calm the bears even though they very well knew they were regarded as some of the world’s most dangerous animals. The men tried their best to placate the cubs and hoped they realized they were trying to help them, not hurt them.
