Man Makes Heroic Rescue Of Moose But Then Gets A Big Surprise

As far as Plucas and the moose go, he was just waiting for the next day that Animal Services would arrive and relieve him of his duty. He couldn’t help feel anxious until they take the injured calf from him. Unfortunately, Animal Services soon let him know they actually would not be able to help. However, what they suggested next for him was just awful.

Turning To The Hunters

Instead of helping Plucas, Animal Services told Plucas he should phone some local hunters. They told him the hunters would deal with the baby moose. Plucas was able to understand the implications and was absolutely mortified that this poor moose would be turned over to those who may have killed her mother.
