Remarkable Change
In a Facebook post made by In-Sync, they told the press: “Sheila has made a remarkable improvement. She has restored muscle strength, swallowing comfortably, and runs and jumps a lot.” Even the administrators and caretakers who worked with Sheila on a daily basis couldn’t explain why this cat, who had previously been so weak, had recovered so quickly. Although antibiotics are effective, Sheila’s willingness to live independently may not have been restored.

Although cats appear to be colder creatures, lions are, of course, natural predators. They, too, must be surrounded by pride; they cannot exist in isolation. The wild lions spend the entire day together, feeding, playing, and hunting women. It didn’t make Sheila’s recovery any easier outside of their natural environment, but the in-Sync team was a lot smarter than we thought.
