However, blogs and social media are full of a quote in which he talks about how he is fine with his size, that being bigger is not always better. The quote has been transformed into a meme, but the actor says he did not land the lead role in The Hobbit for no reason. We couldn’t track down the whole quote, but it displays a shortened version of the YouTube clip. The actor explained, “There’s no denying. However, I’m in the (expletive) Hobbit.”
