Abby Wambach
Before Abby Wambach retired in 2015, she made a name for herself as one of the most decorated soccer players in American history. Over the course of her career, she brought home two Olympic golds, a FIFA Women’s World Cup title, and the Associated Press Athlete of the Year award. On top of this, she made it to the Time’s 100 Most Influential People list in 2015. Two years later, she and Glennon Doyle tied the knot.
