In an interview with a journalist from CanWest News Service, she revealed that she doesn’t discuss the inspiration for her songs because of how personal it is. However, actor-comedian Dave Coulier joked that the song is about him — he even told Boston Herald how “… the lines are very close to home.” Other contenders include Leslie Howe, Matt LeBlanc, and Mike Peluso.
