Alia Shawkat – Paul Burke’s Granddaughter

Well-known for her star role in the American television show Arrested Development, Alia Shawkat played character Maeby Fünke. Alia is the granddaughter of actor Paul Burke. Burke starred in the well-known films The Thomas Crown Affair and Valley of the Dolls. Burke died of leukemia in 2009 which deeply saddened Alia, as the two kept close ties.
