Steven R. McQueen – Steve McQueen’s Grandson
American action star Steve McQueen lured fans to the box office during the 60s and 70s with his handsome looks and sheer talent. Best known for appearing in The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, and The Towering Inferno, McQueen was the highest-paid movie star in 1974. In 1980, the actor died from mesothelioma, a cancer which can be traced to asbestos exposure. McQueen married twice and had two children. Steven R. McQueen, the star’s grandson certainly inherited some acting genes as he is best known for his appearance on The Vampire Diaries.
