Taking A Break
The volunteers now had the tools they needed, so they went on with the repair work. The other volunteers and rescuers took a break since they were getting tired. Other locals gave them drinks and snacks. For now, the baby elephant had no choice but to wait. However, the adult elephants started screaming again! They tried to calm them down by getting closer to the calf to ensure it was all okay.
