In spite of the geeky appearance he has, Stephen doesn’t seem to have any problems attracting beautiful ladies. Prior to dating Mircea Monroe, Stephen was in a relationship with Christine Marzano, who has said that he is the “sexiest man alive”. It appears as if she is not alone in having this opinion – there are rumors that the 43-year-old comedian had a relationship with the X-Men beauty Rose Byrne as well. Living with a man who has the same height as Merchant can be rather challenging. Merchant says, “… my whole house is dominated by custom-made sofas to accommodate all 6ft 7in of me”.
