Leonard’s father on the show, Dr. Alfred Hofstadter, is played by actor Judd Hirsch. In real life, Judd Hirsch has had two marriages. In this photo, he can be seen together with second wife Bonni Sue Chalkin. Together, Judd and Bonni have two children. Judd also has a son, Alex, from his first marriage with ex-wife Elissa Hirsch. Judd and Bonni had a surprise wedding in 1992. Their 35 guests initially thought they were just attending a regular party but it ended up being quite an exciting wedding. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out. The couple got divorced in 2005.
