Loretta Young had a long and interesting career, having started to act at the tender age of two or three! Her career spanned decades, starting from 1917 until 1953. She received Academy Award nominations for her work in The Farmer’s Daughter and Come to the Stable. From 1930 to 1931, she was briefly married to Grant Withers, but she was also involved in a public affair with Spencer Tracy. At only eight years old, she started to smoke but she kicked the habit in the ‘80s in order to gain 10 pounds.
