This actress also started her career in Broadway. She was part of the cast in shows such as Camelot and My Fair Lady. Yes, her performances were quite exemplary in the musical films: The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. Aside from her success in the big screen, she also conquered the small screen in the 70’s by headlining the ABC variety specials. She is still active these days and she was also the voice of Gru’s mother in Despicable Me 3. What’s even more amazing is that she is also an author. She wrote her own biography in 2008 and has written several children’s books.
