Unless you had read the book, the Red Wedding came as a huge (and very gory) shock. Richard Madden, who played Robb Stark, decided to read the books at the same pace as the show – he didn’t want any spoilers. But like many of us, he had a moment of weakness and one night, he Googled his character – and learned about the Red Wedding, and his own tragic fate. Poor Robb… and poor Richard.
