Now here’s a pretty neat fact. Growing up, Melissa d’Arabian learned all her culinary skills by herself as her single mother of two was putting herself through medical school. Told you it was neat! After winning Food Network Star, d’Arabian started her own show, Ten Dollar Dinners. The premise of the show is to present healthy, family friendly recipes which cost under ten dollars.
