Favoritism
We all have our favorite teams, and ESPN reporters are certainly no exception. However, on air at least, sportscasters aren’t supposed to play favorites. However, based on the amount of time they spend focusing on certain players and teams, reporters like Mike Greenberg have been accused of favoring the Yankees, Patriots, Jets, Red Sox, and Mets.

Washington Redskins
These days, social media makes it very easy to quickly offend. In September 2015, Jessica McCloughan – wife of Scot McCloughan, better known as the Washington Redskins GM – sent a nasty tweet about ESPN reporter Dianna Russini. While McCloughan did later apologize and delete the tweet, it was too little too late… not much could take back her claim that Russini was exchanging a certain type of favors for inside info about the Redskins.
