While on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show, Moore shattered stereotypical images of women and seriously pushed gender norms. She was, and will forever be, a hero. Later on in her life, she became heavily involved with charity work and political causes. Sadly in January 2017, she passed away.
