For some reason, kids of famous parents are just fascinating to the public. Could it have something to do with their extravagant lifestyle? Their immediate wealth? The fact that they get to meet other famous people day in, day out? They also grow up knowing other famous kids? All of the above? Yeah, we think it’s all of the above! Take a look at the list we pulled together of famous kids who are quickly becoming superstars of their own doing.
Sure, we know celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Robin Williams, Phil Collins, Steve Irwin, Jim Carrey, the Jenner slash Kardashian clan, Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, Will Smith, and so on. But what do we know about their offspring? Some have gone on to pursue music, acting, writing, modeling careers, whereas some are living life off the grid as lawyers. Either way, they live privileged lives and that’s not an exaggeration. They were sent to the best schools and some even went on to Ivy League universities. Most of these celebrity children have never worried about where their next meal is coming from, whether they’ll have a roof over their head, or any other “normal” concerns. Their parents are millionaires, if not billionaires, after all! Many celebrity children have walked down the red carpet, enjoyed little cameos on a film or television show, have other famous Hollywood stars as their godparents, and can call other celebrity children their friends. There aren’t many of us who can say the same thing; heck we probably wouldn’t even know where to start. And while the temptation is there, to live the extravagant lifestyle of the rich and famous, personally I wouldn’t trade my family for anything. Although it would be nice to enjoy some of the perks.
Now not all celebrity children are living off their parent’s success, some have carved their own path and want to be treated as individuals, not just as celebrity children. We completely respect that. And while it’s nice to have advantages over others, we admire their humble request to do things for themselves, just like us Average Joes. We have decided to compile a list of all the famous children in Hollywood, their famous parents, and just what they’re up to on a day to day basis. Some you might recognize, and others, well prepare to be surprised.
